CORY FAVRE  SCRIBBLES AND SCARS

Cory Favre is a Roseville, MN based artist who primarily works in drawing and oil painting,  but has recently begun experimenting with felt and embroidery in her pieces. This body of work is still about her journey in motherhood — with the addition of being a mother of a child with cancer. Inspired by social issues and politics, particularly those issues facing women, she explores uncomfortable themes through bright fun imagery to draw the viewer in. Thus, creating a space for people to connect and have conversations about things that might otherwise be overlooked.
