Celebrating the Rochester Thaw Music Festival

March 13 – April 5, 2026

Threshold Arts presents a pop-up photography exhibition in celebration of the fifth annual (and final) Rochester Thaw Music Festival—a one-day music festival on Saturday, March 21—featuring thirty bands at seven venues throughout downtown Rochester, organized by My Town My Music. 

The goal of this exhibition is to activate our gallery in a meaningful way during the Thaw Festival while showcasing the talent of live music photographers in our community. This selection features several memorable performances in and around Rochester, Minnesota over the past several years, and features the work of the following local photographers:

Photos are available for purchase for $30, and proceeds are split 50/50 between the artist and Threshold Arts to cover the expenses associated with presenting this exhibition. Framed photos are available for pick-up after April 8, or can be shipped for and additional $15.

We provide a platform through which local music fans tell us what types of music most interests them, and what artists they would like to see brought to the community.
